6 Fine-Dining Experiences in Dublin You Don’t Want to Miss
Posted on 15 August 2019
If you’re in Dublin for a romantic break, a business meeting or just fancy treating yourself (like we all do sometimes!), then you simply can’t afford to miss the following fine-dining experiences in Dublin. Both the quantity and overall quality of fine dining restaurants in Dublin has expanded hugely over the past few years, many of which are within a stone’s throw from our doorstep at PREMIER SUITES PLUS Leeson Street. While our accommodation comes with a fully equipped kitchen for you to cook up your own masterclass, we recommend you check out some of the local restaurants if you fancy letting someone else do the hard work for you.
Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud
If you’re a fan of French cuisine and mouth-watering wine,
Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud
will be your idea of heaven-on-earth. This two-star Michelin restaurant is located in the centre of Dublin and named after the owner, Patrick Guilbaud, a French professional chef residing in Ireland. The traditional French dining style is complemented by the beautiful townhouse surroundings and the superb customer service from highly-knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Located in one of Dublin’s most impressive buildings, The Mansion House,
is iconic on the fine dining scene in Dublin. The Mansion House is opulent and luxurious with stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings and visiting is an experience by itself. The menu is large and varied with everything from carnivore to vegetarian catered to and the food is all locally sourced and cooked to the highest standard. Who not top it all off with one of their mouth-watering desserts for a real treat?
Located just a minutes’ walk from St. Stephens Green,
has been an instant hit among foodies in Dublin since opening its doors 7 years ago. They aim to leave each guest with a memorable experience, complemented by fantastic menus and an opulent setting is sure to leave a memorable impression. All produce is locally sourced and cooked to perfection by a range of talented chefs. We recommend trying the tasting menu to get a taste of everything and see first-hand the talent and skill of the chefs.
Although not quite as close to PREMIER SUITES Leeson Street as some of the other restaurants on the list,
is well worth the short walk across the Liffey. As a staple for fine dining in Dublin, when you dine here, you’ll be sure to receive a Michelin star experience at a good price. They have a great menu selection; a tasting menu sampling the best of what Chapter One offers, a more reasonably priced but great quality pre-theatre menu and the very exclusive private dining experience ‘Chef’s Table’ where you get to speak to the chef while you dine.
The double AA Rosette winning
prides itself on using only quality, seasonal food prepared and served in a casual dining atmosphere. They also have private dining options available from a room to a floor or even the entire restaurant to yourself, depending on your needs and the size of the party. Their ingredients are sourced locally and the tasting offers five courses of fantastic food, with optional wine pairings available for maximum impact.
A bit of a hidden gem in Dublin regardless of its well-deserved Michelin star,
Locks Brasserie is located in the leafy almost-suburb of Portbello
. Like many fine dining establishments in Dublin Locks specialises in French cuisine but ensure to put an Irish twist to make each dish unique to them. The restaurant is casual (almost an anti-Michelin trait) but there are private dining areas available for use. Locks are passionate about the quality of food and the ethics of the suppliers and you can find a list of their producers on the website.
So, there you have it - some of the of best fine dining establishments in Dublin and all within easy walking distance of your accommodation in Dublin. If you’re interested in a stay with PREMIER SUITES Dublin, contact our friendly reservations team by phone.
